Southeast Asia is seeing a rapid uptake of e-commerce as it soared to 63 per cent or rathr $62 billion in 2020 according to a recent e-Conomy SEA 2020 report. Consumers are shifting from offline to online for their retail therapy amid lockdowns. E-commerce is enabling business, especially SMEs, to find new ways to meet customer demand and keep them engaged and entertained with virtual experience. What are the immediate and longer term impact on SMEs as more people make shopping online an integral part of their lives?
