Hoda Abou-Jamra has forged a successful investment career globally, ignited by her experience in U.S. and European pharma and life science business development, as well as fundraising for U.S. and European life science investment firms. She was the driving force behind the establishment of the TVM Capital Healthcare as a globally active healthcare investor with a focus on emerging markets from 2007 onwards. Hoda serves as TVM Capital Healthcare’s Managing Director of the Southeast Asian Operations based in Singapore.
She currently holds board positions at Manzil Healthcare Services, a dedicated provider of professional home care and home nursing services headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Amecath Medical Technologies, a Medical Devices company with distribution networks in Southeast Asia, Europe and the USA, as well as Bourn Hall International, UAE, the fertility platform of Bourn Hall, UK, focusing on international markets.
Hoda is a regular speaker and commentator in the private equity and healthcare arena and an advocate of and passionate about good corporate governance, ESG investing and promoting diversity and gender equality. Before co-founding TVM Capital Healthcare, she was the CEO of Boston BioCapital, a Boston based company that provided strategic advice, due diligence services, business plan conception, business development and fundraising services for start-up and spin-offs from the U.S. and European biotech industry. She is a founder of The BioExec Institute, Boston, a non-profit think tank for the healthcare industry. Hoda graduated from the Bouve College of Health Sciences, Northeastern University, Boston, with a degree in Pharmacy.
